In “Viridis” , artist Claire Parrish creates scenes of mountains and abstract emotional landscapes that center around the theme of spring and the transition from darkness to warmth.
Claire uses raw canvas and painting methods rooted in movement and water to create her emotional scenes that strive to draw the viewer into these scenes of spring.

Claire Parrish Edwards was born in Jackson, Mississippi. In 2019, she received her BA in Theater with a Minor in Psychology. During her time at university. Claire spent her time exploring movement techniques and how to tell a story or convey a feeling, without the use of words. Claire has been featured in various group shows including The Best Of The Northwest Spring and Fall Show, The West Seattle Art Walk, Arts At The Armory and was included in a feature article titled “Top 50 artists in Washington.” In addition to her art practice, Claire also teaches the healing power of theater and art to young students in various pierce county schools. Claire’s next event is a window installation for the summer with the City of Burien.
